Webinar: A Practitioner’s Guide to Non-Binding Arbitration

Featuring perspectives from all sides, this workshop will guide participants through the non-binding arbitration process, including: discussing the roles of the arbitrator, attorney, adjuster, client, and expert witness. The workshop will focus on effective preparation for arbitration, navigation of the hearing; and how to successfully use non-binding arbitration as a tool for resolving wind/property claims. Information will be delivered through an interactive, balanced panel discussion. 

Learning Objectives:

• Distinguish between a non-binding arbitration and mediation, the rules governing non-binding arbitrations, and comprehend how arbitrations are utilized in wind/property claims;
• Understand the roles of the Arbitrator, Attorney, Adjuster, Client, and Expert Witness;
• Utilize the skills learned to effectively navigate a non-binding arbitration of a wind/property claim, from preparation through the hearing and beyond; and
• Recognize the benefits of the arbitration process as a tool for resolution of wind/property claims.
